As Cerberus said, you can't really compare pilots across universes.

As for Kira, I do not think he is that skilled. Sure, you see him owning grunts, but all the Gundam main characters do that. When Kira gets the Freedom and the Strike Freedom, he seems to lose all his ingenuity, using the same attack pilots. Against a pilot like Amuro or Char, they would easily use this against him.

He lost to Shinn who had an inferior performance suit. Sure, you can say Shinn cheated, but it shows his skill in using everything at his disposable.

He also came close to losing to the Druggies, and no-one thinks the Druggies are skilled.

As for Gato, the Nuke is because of his MS, not his skill.

I gotta be honest, I didn't like most of the Gundam series. The ones I did like were 08th MS team, war in the pocket(0080 if I remember correctly), and char's counterattack. Worst out of those has to be SEED and Beyond Worst(yes, with a capital B) is SEED Destiny. As for, G everyone says is good, I thought it was alright, but imo, it didn't really seem like Gundam.

I still havn't watched turn A, X and the new 00 series but I heard turn A is really good.

Lol, you are missing out. Turn A, and X are some of the best, and 00 ain't too shabby either.

SEED is kind of average, but it is a re-telling of the original MSG for teenagers.

SEED Destiny I think started off great, until it reached Break the World. Then it became crap until Shinn beats up the Freedom, and then became even crapper after that. The final battles were probably the worst fight scenes of any anime.

And yes, G has fights like Dragonball, even a Kamehameha clone, but the story is much deeper. And also the best romance in all Gundam, bar none.

Except for Shiro and Aina. Cuz Aina's hot.

gundam is best, there still new 1s come out, therefore the peak is not 30 years ago
